Her Stilla Cedar Studio arrived, snug and secure as a flat pack, which her builder helped assemble. Christine’s vision emerged through every personal touch: VJ lining for warmth, internal and external blinds, a reverse cycle air-conditioner and a marble kitchen with a waterfall bench, sink and small fridge underneath were added.
Housing a sofa bed, a dining table for six, and thoughtful additions like a weatherproof powerpoint to sit on the surrounding deck and enjoy the fresh air whilst working on the laptop.
Christine’s Stilla Cedar Studio became a central character in the family’s daily life. It was a venue for the children’s growing social circles, an oasis for styd, and a cherished nook for Christine herself—to whisper sweet Swedish nothings into the endless Australian sky, a testament to Stilla’s power to create not a shed, but dreams.
